Great stay at The Waterfront in Kuching We - my wife and myself - had a lovely stay at the Waterfront Hotel in Kuching. The location is great, right in town near the waterfront. The room was very nice, spacious and well kept. We had a great view of the river! The pool area is very attractive and it has a bar, where you can enjoy a drink or a snack with nice views of Kuching by night! The staff was wonderful and and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was a highlight for us! A lovely array of various local and western foods and all very tasty. The staff in the restaurant was terrific! Very friendly, they even helped us with tipps on our next destination (Santubong). On weekends they have a musical Duo playing lovely tunes as you enjoy your breakfast. These two guys were very good, one of them playing the "Sape" which is a local instrument. After breakfast they continue their "gig" in the Lobby. We can definitively recommend a stay at the Waterfront Hotel, we would return anytime! Kuching is a great place to visit.
